Troubleshooting Baxi Boilers
Baxi boilers are some of the best models that anyone is able to use in either their homes or businesses. As the winter months approach it is important to find a machine that is going to keep you warm and comfortable. Most of us will have one of these systems already built into the home. This makes it easy for us, that is until something goes wrong with it.
When there is a problem the easiest solution is to call a contractor or technician to study it and tell us what is wrong. The downside to this is that it can be expensive. The best way to fix the unit without having to spend large amounts of money is to try to fix it yourself. With our help this just might be possible.
The first thing that you have to check is to make sure that the breaker has not been tripped. You would be surprised how many people will wonder why it is not working, only to find out that it isn’t getting any electricity. Check all of the connections and turn it all on.
Another thing you want to look at are the various lights. Go to the boiler and see if the ‘Central Heating’, ‘Burner On’, and ‘Domestic Hot Water’ indicators are on. If they are not than you need to find out if the ‘Central Heating’ pressure needle is set to the right spot. It should be between 1 and 2.5. Repressurize the system if it is not.
Look at the display to see if you see any error codes on it. If there is one or more than you need to reset the unit. If this does not work than you need to turn the ‘Central Heating’ timer on if it is not already.
